We’re a family-run restaurant, and everything we do is built on family values — warmth, generosity, honesty and a genuine love for looking after people. When you step through our doors, we want you to feel relaxed, comfortable and completely at home. Safari isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a place to belong.
Safari began as a small café in Junction One, Antrim, before we brought it home to Banbridge in 2019. That move marked the true beginning of Safari Banbridge, and since then we’ve grown into one of County Down’s most loved and highly regarded restaurants.
We’re incredibly proud to be multi-award-winning, receiving recognition such as:

But while the awards mean a lot, they’re not what drives us. What matters most is the people who walk through our doors every day.

At Safari, we keep things warm, relaxed and informal. A place where you can start your morning with a hearty breakfast, enjoy a catch-up over coffee, pop in for a fresh, quick lunch, or unwind with our evening dining from Thursday to Saturday.
Our restaurant was transformed during lockdown into a bright, modern space where our team of talented chefs create flavour-packed, freshly prepared dishes every day.

With the best locally sourced steaks, fresh handmade pastas, a wide variety of chicken dishes and one of the largest vegetarian/vegan menus in Northern Ireland, there truly is something for everyone. Add in fantastic weekend entertainment, great wines, signature cocktails and one of NI’s largest vodka ranges, and you’ve got the perfect backdrop for a memorable night out.
